Guess the Christmas song with a new Heardle spin

One of the guess-that-song daily web games, Heardle Decades, has added Christmas Heardle -- listen to a few seconds at a time, type the name of the song or artist to search among dozens of Christmas songs, and try to guess the song within the first 12 seconds of the tune.

Yessss!!!

Heardle is something I should be into more, it's very similar to a game we play* but I just don't have a good knowledge of recent music.

Got today's Christmas Heardle in one.

* Game: when a song starts playing, compete to be the first to name the song, the artist, the album and the year published (or just song & artist) - bonus point if you get it before they start singing.

Playing the everyday Heardle game, it's been sobering to realize that of Billboard Hot 100 hits recorded before the year 2000, I get most of them in one note. After 2000? Only the very biggest hits.

I'll have to think hard about playing the decades games. Will it still be fun if I get them all because I'm playing the '70s or '80s versions? I would like to be able to select a brace of decades to choose from, and maybe include the '40s and '50s.

Played a 60s, my wife called it as My Guy.

It marked as wrong but it was that tune…

aiq, did you select it from the menu or just type in "My Guy"? You need to select it for it to count....
