Akira is just such a soup of visual invention. (Kind of like Star Wars that way.)

If someone could collate all of the original music videos based on Akira I would appreciate it. I came up with three before realizing I don't watch any music videos.

Sampling Geinoh Yamashirogumi is a fantastic idea. Some bits of the soundtrack lend themselves really well to this interpretation.

Ah, that's the source of the lack-luster vocal samples with weird pronounciations. I get that the listening audience is probably predominantly English speakers, but for utterances of "Ka-ne-da" (ugh, just typing it makes my fingers itch) you could switch to the Japanese voice actors.

Still, the production is fantastic.

The mixtape (or perhaps only a few of the tracks) is roughly a year old; this is the official release. So it¡¯s certainly possible that you¡¯ve seen it circulate somewhere before this, but as far as I know this is the only site provided by LuckyMe that¡¯s been dedicated to the download. (Incidentally, it just made FACT¡¯s list of the 25 best releases of the year so far.)
