So peaceful. There's a short AI video floating around of a fictional Ghibli-style game. This game feels like that, but real. Very cool.

signal, it does seem like multiplayers are present in the same world. When I played, I was followed about by one person constantly emitting the Poop Emoji. So, yeah. Once you know what to do it's really short. It's possible to get onto the top of the pipes, and inside the water pipe that emits the waterfall, although it's completely unnecessary to go to either place.

Has anyone gotten on that roof via the dumpster and fire escape? There's someone up there. I've gotten very close, but always miss the last jump. Couldn't get in the pipe, either. Also, where is the UFO? Anyway, great game.

I think it's likely that not every player in the game at the same time is in the world. They had to have considered the possibility that the world could get overcrowded and implemented something like sharding. So, multiple Metafilter users could be in there at once but in different versions of the game world.

Oh!! YAY :D This was made (primarily?) by Vicente Lucendo, who created a demo version of this in 2023, called Summer Afternoon. Perhaps the alien says this to everyone, but I wonder if their "I think I've seen you somewhere before" was a nod to me having met him on the earlier beach :) (I love games that include other players on their own journeys. The most serendipitous digital experience I've ever had was in Journey, accompanying a stranger through the final, icy stages of the game, keeping each other warm.) Thank you for this, slater.

This was really pretty and well done. The tiny planet idea is brilliant, and I'm happy that you can do all the deliveries without actually memorizing the map. Also, I'm amazed this can be done in a browser.

Any tips for the message lost at sea one (don't have it open at the moment but I think the phrasing was something like that)? I wasn't even able to find where to start it.

The note lost at sea starts with Captain Steve, the man hunched over a box trying to pry it open, in front of a blue boat up on blocks. Downhill from the main square, in the direction of the green pedestrian bridge.
