I got to level 32, which has an audio component that I can't do at work _{but I shouldn't have been doing any of this at work} There were a couple times I thought it was impossible to proceed, but I did it. Also: It looks like it remembers where you left off if you leave and return.

I'm stuck on level 47, it requires some motor skills that I don't seem to developing. I may have to throw in the towel, or find a way to defeat the level that does not involve fast fingers. Neal Agarwal certainly puts a lot of time and consideration into these games. Respect.

If you click the in-game "refresh" icon, it cycles through several options to look for. I chose the "chillies sign," and found a store front window with that sign.

I got to level 34 where you had to click squares in increasing order. I guess you are supposed to use an external tool to evaluate the expressions (or tediously estimate them by pen and paper), but I refuse to do that so now I'm a robot.

I'm just thinking about this one novella about an Ancient Alien tower on a remote planet that surely holds vast secrets... but first you have to get through an increasingly complex series of math problems, so complex that the protagonists rewire their brains to do them. Eventually they reshape themselves into creatures specifically built to pass some physical challenges. (Alastair Reynolds, Diamond Dogs.) I stopped at "draw a circle". I'm a pro artist. My circles are good enough for design purposes and if I need a precise circle I have *tools* for that.

Regarding the circle-drawing, I failed many times attempting counter-clockwise circles, which was my initial preference. But eventually I tried clockwise, and soon had success. So a switch in default direction may be fruitful.

Trying to talk about this without spoiling anything: Apparently they changed the rules for stage 47 while I was playing because when I reloaded the controls changed to a more standard configuration (iykyk) and the target was eased up and also announced. Still the rules were more punishing than the more standard form of this interaction I've seen elsewhere and it was unduly difficult. But I have proven that I am a human, with only minor repetitive stress injury! Whew!

I tested out Literaryhero's ChatGPT cheat against my better judgement. Impressively, it correctly OCR'd the image and correctly evaluated the task requirement and all the mathematical expressions. Then it persistently failed to order the resulting numbers correctly, even after being told several times that the values were ok but the ordering was wrong. I'm counting that as a win for 2025's bleeding-edge CAPTCHA technology.

I stupidly clicked the "I'm not a robot" on the page with the million ways to not not be a robot before I finished reading all the permutations, and it disappeared the page and then I had to try to park a car for tenbillion hours, having missed a bunch of funny stuff. Booo! But it reminded me I hadn't checked out Internet Roadtrip, my favorite Neal.fun game in the history of Neal.fun, in a minute, so I checked, and the car is back in Maine! Whaaaa? And the evidence on the map that the car went briefly to Colorado and Belgium is now erased. In short, many exciting developments in Internet Roadtrip.
