It s a good comment on the limits of centering communications strategy over other aspects of social movement, like building power and capacity comment:www.metafilter.com,2023:site.200910-8462397 Tue, 03 Oct 2023 07:37:41 -0800 eustatic By: TheKaijuCommuter http://www.metafilter.com/200910/2010s-Pop-Feminism-A-Painful-Look-Back#8462541 I started this but didn't really have enough free time in my work day to wrap it up. Will try to do so at some point. Thanks for posting. comment:www.metafilter.com,2023:site.200910-8462541 Tue, 03 Oct 2023 11:46:07 -0800 TheKaijuCommuter By: rebent http://www.metafilter.com/200910/2010s-Pop-Feminism-A-Painful-Look-Back#8462804 fantastic essay, thank you for posting it. It spoke to a lot of what I have been thinking about lately. At what level or sphere I want to apply my efforts. More towards direct care and aid within my family and friend network, less towards over-arching social justice issues. I'm grateful for what I learned during that era, and my hunger for action has directed me to where I am today. comment:www.metafilter.com,2023:site.200910-8462804 Tue, 03 Oct 2023 21:18:40 -0800 rebent
